CohenTaylor Hosts Successful Art Event

Yesterday evening, CohenTaylor had the honor of hosting local artist Anne Pryor’s very first art show, titled “Lovitude: Visual Blessings Soul Paintings”. The lively evening, full of good food and great people, brightened up an otherwise rainy day. Anne also treated us to a live painting demonstration, showing us her unique artistic process. Guests were able to purchase the beautiful pieces, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Headwaters Foundation. Thank you to Anne, and everyone who came out, for making the event so memorable.

Founded in 2003 by Steve and Becky Chepokas in memory of their son, Mitch. Pinky Swear Foundation eases the financial and emotional impacts experienced by children with cancer and their families by providing basic needs support during a very challenging time. Cancer is not a one-day thing. It is hard to imagine what life is like to have a child going through cancer; it affects the whole family. That’s why our programs are so important. We do not limit requests from families, nor discriminate on socioeconomic status. When cancer enters life, the simple, everyday things aren’t so simple anymore.

The Role: Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for Pinky Swear Foundation’s staff, programs, and execution of its mission. S/he will initially develop deep knowledge of field, core programs, operations, and development plans. At least 5 years of senior management experience; track record of effectively leading and regionally and/or nationally scaling a performance – and outcomes – based organization and staff; ability to point to specific examples of having developed and operationalized strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth.
