Minnesota’s $10 billion hospitality industry is on an exciting trajectory of growth, and the industry needs unifying leadership that will support and shape this new phase for Minnesota businesses. Hospitality Minnesota, an association of various Minnesotan hospitality industries, hopes to be at the forefront of this leadership.

Gaining status as an organization at the forefront of growth and innovation is partly dependent on the right leadership. Hospitality Minnesota recently engaged CohenTaylor Executive Search Services in the search for its next President & CEO. After a comprehensive search, Hospitality Minnesota ultimately selected Liz Rammer as its new leader.

Liz has held leadership positions in both corporate and nonprofit organizations. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Marketing and a member of the executive management team at Life Link III, a nonprofit air medical transport company headquartered in Minneapolis. Over her 11-year tenure, Liz held three different leadership roles at the Medical Alley (LifeScience Alley) trade association, concluding her service as Chief Operations Officer. She was instrumental in growing the organization to become the largest state-based trade group for healthcare and life sciences companies in the United States.

She has over 25 years of marketing/advertising experience holding account management positions at Pointward, McCann (Campbell Mithun), Martin/Williams, and Carmichael Lynch. Liz also served as Director of Alumni Relations at Macalester College and began her career in market research. In 2006, Liz was honored with a “Woman to Watch” award by The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Liz currently serves on the board of directors for Senior Community Services. She holds an MSA degree from Northwestern University and a BA from Lawrence University.

Please join us in congratulating Liz on her new role at Hospitality Minnesota. CohenTaylor is excited to see all that Liz will accomplish. Liz will begin her role today.
