Clare Housing, the largest licensed provider of supportive affordable housing for people living with HIV in Minnesota, operates 218 units of housing and has developed three resident-focused supportive housing options to meet residents where they’re at. Unique in its mission and focused in its execution, Clare Housing is the only organization in Minnesota dedicated to advancing new programs and solutions to address the full-continuum of HIV-related housing needs – and is ending homelessness among individuals living with HIV, one move-in at a time.

Clare Housing is seeking its next Executive Director to assume leadership of a nonprofit organization that has an experienced, dedicated, and passionate leadership team and staff that is deeply committed to the overall success of the organization. The new Executive Director will bring strong, strategic, and visionary leadership skills to help guide the organization into the future. A highly relational leader, the new Executive Director will serve as the primary face and voice of the organization, with a focus on building partnerships and fostering connections in support of their mission. They will be a solid operational leader with proven expertise in policy and advocacy, fundraising, and programming. A financially astute leader, the new Executive Director will bring a proven ability to continue to strengthen and diversify funding sources. A palpable heart for the mission of serving individuals living with HIV and homelessness is essential for success.

The Executive Director should have 8-10+ years of experience in progressive leadership roles within the nonprofit space or a similar sector. They will bring a proven ability to manage multifamily housing finance and operations and/or complex financial models. Qualified candidates will have knowledge and experience in the health and human services field. A bachelor’s degree is required; with an advanced degree (MBA, MPA, MPH, or MSW) preferred.
