On behalf of our client, Minnesota Public Radio, CohenTaylor Executive Search Services is conducting a retained executive search for its Planned Giving Director.
Since its origins as a single classical music station in 1967, Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) continues to thrive throughout the years as one of the nation’s premier public radio stations producing programming for radio, digital, and live audiences and operating a 46-station radio network serving nearly all of Minnesota and parts of surrounding states. Reaching 1 million listeners each week, MPR and its three regional services – MPR News, Classical MPR, and The Current – produce programming for radio, digital, and live audiences.
MPR is currently seeking a dynamic and innovation leader to serve as the Planned Giving Director. The Planned Giving Director will lead planning, implementing, and sustaining strategies and tactics to build the MPR and APM endowment through planned gifts.
The ideal candidate will manage new and existing marketing strategies to promote and secure planned gifts, steward those who have declared their planned giving intent and work with the Director of Major & Planned Giving to move the program to the next level.
An exciting time to join the organization, MPR is well on its way to raising $75M by 2020 as part of their Inspired by You campaign. Planned Giving plays a significant, visible role in the campaign, fueling transformative investments that will deepen and expand MPR’s public service.
