On behalf of our client, Project for Pride in Living (PPL), CohenTaylor Executive Search Services is conducting a retained executive search for its Vice President of Development & External Affairs.
Project for Pride in Living, Inc. (PPL) is a nationally recognized, award-winning nonprofit that aims to reduce poverty and increase equity in the Twin Cities region. PPL stabilizes households economically through two strategic program areas: industry-tailored career training and affordable apartments. The combination of career-track jobs and housing stability enables the people PPL serves to become authors of their own lives and provide different futures for their children. Most of the people PPL serves are BIPOC, and nearly all arrive with poverty-level incomes. Equity and diversity are values that undergird all of PPL’s work and drive internal decision-making.
PPL is seeking a Vice President of Development & External Affairs (VP), a results-driven, donor-focused leader, communicator, and fundraiser with an understanding of the local community and business environment. The VP is responsible for leading fundraising, development, communications, volunteer, and impact/evaluation activities and has a relentless focus on gaining the unrestricted resources to support PPL’s mission and strategic objectives. The ability to forge successful relationships with staff and partners is crucial to this role.
Steadfast in its mission, PPL’s model of stabilizing the economics of a household through affordable housing and career training is now more relevant than ever. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
