The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority (MSFA) is a political subdivision of the State of Minnesota. The MSFA owns U.S. Bank Stadium and oversees operation of the stadium and the stadium’s food and beverage services. The Finance Director provides leadership in the planning, coordinating, directing, and communicating high-quality financial services to the MSFA. The position holds a diverse set of responsibilities, including directing the operating and capital budgeting process, directing preparation of the MSFA’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), serving as risk manager, administering the MSFA’s procurement function, including leading diversity, equity and inclusion strategy, and directing contract management. The Finance Director supervises one accountant and interacts with the MSFA Executive Director, Board Chair, and key MSFA clientele including the Minnesota Vikings, ASM Global, and Aramark.

The ideal Finance Director is a strategic and proactive finance professional with 5-7+ years of experience in governmental accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
