On behalf of our client, St. Croix Valley Foundation (SCVF), CohenTaylor is conducting a retained executive search for their Vice President, Philanthropy.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a regional community foundation that, since 1995, has partnered with donors, professional advisors, and local nonprofits to facilitate more than $100 million in grants and scholarships – supporting people, projects, and possibilities across the region and beyond.
With fresh momentum from recent milestones and the kick-off of a collaborative rebranding process, SCVF is poised for even greater visibility, reach, and impact. The Vice President, Philanthropy, will play a pivotal leadership role in this next chapter by inspiring philanthropy across stakeholders, deepening collaboration, and expanding outreach and giving across the region.
In this role, the Vice President, Philanthropy will lead strategies for asset growth, legacy giving, and philanthropic services; build strong relationships with donors, advisors, and nonprofits; and cultivate and steward major and planned gifts.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled relationship-builder with a strategic, collaborative mindset. They will bring progressive leadership experience in philanthropy and have deep knowledge of legacy giving, planned giving, and charitable vehicles.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000
