Washburn Center for Children, a leading nonprofit provider of children’s mental health services, is seeking a strategic, mission-driven Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, strengthen systems, guide a talented team, and partner closely with the CEO to drive sustainable growth and impact for a $30M nonprofit serving over 4,000 children each year
What You’ll Lead
• Organization-wide financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and reporting
• Budget development, financial modeling, and productivity analysis
• Internal controls, audits, treasury, and investment oversight
• Cross-functional initiatives that elevate financial maturity and operational effectiveness
• A finance team of 15, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Qualifications
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/MBA preferred
• 8+ years of progressive financial leadership experience (nonprofit or related sector ideal)
• Knowledge of behavioral health operations or revenue cycle management is a plus
• Experience with government grants, contracts, or regulated environments preferred
